TERRIBILE TRAGEDIA: MARITO E MOGLIE MUOIONO FUORI DAL SUPERMERCATO TRAVOLTI DA UN'AUTO
La drum roll music plays in the background, setting the tone for a heartbreaking story. Just over a month ago, a tragic drama unfolds in front of a supermarket in Villa Santa Monza e Brianza.
Margherita Alissa, 72, and her 78-year-old husband Cosimo Crisci were crossing the road, carrying their groceries, after shopping at the Giant supermarket on via Veceglio. It was January 4th, and their lives were about to be cut short in a split second.
A Nissa Micra, driven by an unknown individual, swerved into their path, striking the couple with devastating force. Cosimo Crisci died on the spot, while Margherita's life hung in the balance. According to eyewitness accounts, the driver of the vehicle stopped immediately, called for emergency services, and provided aid to the couple.
Ambulances and medical responders rushed to the scene, where Cosimo was pronounced dead. Margherita, however, was taken by helicopter to the Vimercate hospital, fighting for her life. Weeks of intense care and treatment followed, but ultimately, the 72-year-old lady succumbed to her injuries, leaving behind a heartbreaking legacy.
The death toll now stands at two, a sobering reminder of the fragility of life and the unpredictability of tragedy. As we bid farewell to Margherita and Cosimo, we are left to ponder the “whys” and “what-ifs,” wondering what could have been done to prevent this senseless act of tragedy.
The music swells, and the narrative fades away, leaving us with only sorrow, grief, and the acute awareness that life can turn on a dime, ending in an instant.
